You guys probably are already aware of what it is happening on Brazil right now. Basically, a fever of manifestation are going on or are scheduled to happen. Brazil is awaking of some sort of sleep or blind time it had towards bad education, healthy treatment, transportation and, especially, bad politicians. It all started out of a raise in the bus price, something like 0,10 cents, in the most important or one of the most important cities in the world: São Paulo. It started like that (even though other cities had had some manifestation before) but it took bigger proportions after the incredibly violent reaction from the police. The manifestation of the last Thursday had more than 10k people (according to Wikipedia). Another manifestation is scheduled to tomorrow and by now has more than 200k people confirmed.
Brazil wasn’t ready to a World Cup or a Olympics. People are done of taking shit of the government. People are done looking down and accept the obviously dictatorship in disguise of democracy. People are done. We are done. I’m done. This is just the beginning. And now, more than ever, I’m proud of being brazilian.
PS.: This video is not mine. Ironically, it is the official song of World Cup 2014. The song lyrics are inviting people to come out the streets to celebrate. Well, people are doing that.
